If you are a loan signing agent, you probably work with many signing companies as well as title and escrow companies. What have been your best and worst experiences with signing companies? What would make you block a signing company or stop taking orders from one?

My most recent bad experience was with The Closer, LLC. I had a Saturday evening signing, with issues related to funds to close and a witness. 2 posts on the website, 2 phone calls and one email later, still no response. This company is definitely off my list!

How did you get this notarization...was it from a signing service, did someone refer you, etc.?  Also, whose responsibility is it to verify the contact information from a closing? Is it proper procedure to contact them upon taking delivery of the closing (or waiting until afterwards)? Asking for a friend...

I believe the signing in question came from SnapDocs, and I have consequently blocked the company from sending me orders. I'm not sure I understand your second question. Can you clarify?

My apologies for the late response. I had a computer hard drive die so I had to call in reinforcements!

I was asking about the verification process. Did SnapDocs verify everything with you beforehand, or simply leave you to fumble? Is there good communication between you (signing agent) and the agency/signing service before, during, and after the closing? I am hearing the WORSE stories about SnapDocs, of late.
